The rosemary tiled cottage Ard na Faire, in the grounds of of the Visit Scotland 5 star rated B & B The Gantocks, has a delightful location perched overlooking Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills. Although in a quiet residential area it is still only a 15 min flat walk to all the town centre's amenities and the railway station.
A luxurious master en-suite bedroom with spa bath and power shower is complemented by an extra large king size bed. Two other delightful ground floor rooms share a further fully-tiled washroom incorporating another power shower.
The open plan fully equipped kitchen/dining area is enhanced by an Electric Aga, while the luxurious lounge enjoys all the spectacular views of the house. Underfloor heating with individually controlled thermostats adds to your comfort. All linen and soft quality towels are supplied in your package.
Fort William is an excellent centre for touring or walking and one of the highlights has to be world-famous the West Highland Rail Line (one of the great little train journeys of the world) by diesel electric or steam.
With Ben Nevis on the doorstep to challenge the brave, and Aonch Mor with all its cycle tracks including the feared downhill, and a more moderate one about to be completed, your holiday can be as energetic as you wish.
More gentle pursuits and paths abound in the area with many glen and valley passes. Glencoe and all its infamous history is only 30 minutes.
