John McLellan & Co Ltd, one of the oldest established businesses in Lochaber, has always been known to provide an honest, dignified and discretionary funeral service. Since 1923 we have dutifully served the community, always giving the highest standard of care and commitment to the bereaved and their loved ones

Our senior funeral director, Ewen MacLennan is well known and respected in Fort William and the surrounding areas, for his quiet, caring and compassionate manner. Ewen started his career 18 years ago with the now retired but still highly regarded Mr Ian Kennedy.

Should you prefer or require a female undertaker, our newly qualified Funeral Director, Theresa Kennedy is always on hand. She is the only qualified female undertaker in Lochaber and a very active member of the local community.

Our newly refurbished premises are tasteful and comfortable and our private rest room offers a peaceful environment where families can pay their last respects. Intimate services can also be conducted in our Chapel of Rest, which can seat up to 25 relatives and friends.

McLellans are always happy to discuss and advise on any worries or concerns regarding costs. Funerals need not be the most expensive time of your life and funerals can be tailored to everyones needs and budgets. One option is the Golden Charter plan which enables clients to pre arrange and set aside funds in full or part payments
